I am a second generation Californian. I am a painter, photographer, surfer and a classic auto enthusiast. I make surfboards as well as restore vintage surfboards. I am a surf historian and curator of thefinbox.com, a website devoted to the history and development of the surfboard fin. I am the father of two sons, Derek and Alex and I live with my wife Yvonne in Oceanside, California.
